Havana Holdings
Havana Holdings was founded in 2001 with the central objective of promoting the Floridita brand. Two of the main shareholders have over twenty years experience in the bar and restaurant sector: Boisdale plc which operates several locations, a well known jazz club and a hotel; and Conran who have over twenty six restaurants around the world, including leading venues such as Bibendum and Coq D’Argent in London, Alcazar in Paris and Gustavinos in New York.
Havana Holdings holds strategic alliances with some of the principal organisations in Cuba to bring this cultural content to Europe. Among these are Palmares SA, the owner of the Floridita in Havana and operator of the most important bars and restaurants in Cuba; Habanos SA the world leader in cigars; and Havana Club, the leading Cuban rum.
In addition, Havana Holdings has a record label subsidiary, Havana Masters and a travel company, Travel Havana, dedicated to offering Floridita clients cultural activities in Cuba, as well as Havana Fashion, a company dedicated to creating clothing and accessories that have a Caribbean twist.
