History

Originally founded in Havana in the early 20th century, El Floridita was a place where history was made. Today it is Cuba's most famous and internationally renowned cocktail bar.

Under the supervision of the legendary bartender Constante Ribalaigua, El Floridita became renowned in the early 1900's as Havana's 'cathedral of cocktails'. It was at El Floridita that Constante, inspired by his fascinating guests, created cocktails to suit their moods. His encounter with the charismatic Ernest Hemingway brought to the creation of the very first Daiquiri… Today's El Floridita is the world's Cradle of the Daiquiri'.

Bar Constante

Floridita London's tribute to the "Cantinero" is Bar Constante, a private members only area featuring a spectacular 30s style steel cocktail-cabinet which pays homage to the original creations of Constante.

The cocktails

With the inspiration and creativity of London's most respected and experienced mixologists Floridita London's drinks menu is an experience in itself. The menu features traditional cocktails from the early 1930's menu, as well as more contemporary creations as the "Pineapple and sage mojito".
