Each soloist will be playing alongside the DJ, improvising to the chosen tunes. Rotating throughout the week, some of the finest musicians will be found jamming at the world famous bar.

Conjunto Sabroso

Tuesday to Fridays, 5 sets of 30 min starting from 20:00

Conjunto Sabroso, led by well known Venezuelan percussionist Wilmer Sifontes, and fronted by Colombian singer Luz Elena Caicedo, are one of London’s most established and popular Latin bands. Renowned for their authentic swing and lively presence on stage, They play traditional Latin dance music with an explosive contemporary edge, that features a vibrant horn section and powerful percussion, incorporating a varied repertoire from Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Colombia

Los Charly’s Orchestra – Latin Edition at Floridita -               

Saturdays, 5 sets of 30 min starting from 20:00

Nuyorican Disco Band, Los Charly’s Orchestra comes to Floridita for a very especial edition of Boogaloo, 70’s Salsa & Latin Funk. Stirring the melting pot, the multicultural congregation of Los Charly's Orchestra (lead by Juan Laya & Jorge Montiel) takes it on a brand new venture, searching back into the spectrum of Afro Latin fusion, Boogaloo, Latin Jazz & Heavy 70’s Salsa, this project marks the beginning of a new period in the production career of the London based production duo & Los Charly’s Orchestra.

The line up of this band includes some of the usual characters behind Los Charly’s activities. They will be on rotation, bringing special guests and many surprises to Floridita every Saturday.

Solo artists:

Giuliano pereira

Giuliano Pereira started his career in his native Brazil where he trained at the Carlos de Campos de Taui Conservatoire. He trained with many renowned Brazilian and American musicians such as Roberto Sion, David Richards among other great maestros. He has dedicated himself to developing his own unique style of composition and performance,which demonstrates a wide range of influences from jazz to traditional Latin & Brazilian styles and fusion.

Jack Yglesias

Reknown London based flautist/percussionist Jack Yglesias has played with Jocelyn Brown, Mulatu Astatke, Spanky Wilson, Quantic, The Heliocentrics, The Poets of Rhythm, Sugarman 3, Lee Fields, Alfredito Linares, Family Atlantica, and Saravah Soul.

Marcelo Andrade

"Born in Rio de Janeiro in 1970, as a child Marcelo studied violin, piano, guitar and sung in the well established choir "Canarinhos de Petropolis". Moving to London in 1989, he continued his studies of jazz violin with David Cross (King Crimson), saxophone and flute with Lyn Dobson (Soft Machine) and composition with Mark Bassey, and is self-taught on Rabeca (Brazilian tradition violin)and pifano (Brazilian traditonal flute).

Ady Jay: On the Floridita stage from 00:45 every Friday and Saturday night

Ady has been spinning his tunes for over 16 years where his love for funky house and Latin beats has had him playing all over London for nights such as ’Soleal’, ’All About Soul’ and been a guest abroad regularly playing at clubs and open air events all around Europe. He has played alongside djs such as Miss Kelly Marie, Tito Heron, JP (Vinyl Junkies), Izzy B, Stuart Patterson and Martin Morales... Ady has also played at many A List parties such as Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Andrea Core and corporate events for clients such as Ester Lauder, Ferrari, Vertu, BT to name a few...He has recently collaborated with Ki which consists of live performances from Kelli Leigh singing live, Izzy B on the Trumpet, Manos on percussion and Ady Jay on the decks.

Now at Floridita every weekend, you can find Ady playing the best in Latin and Funky house grooves. Expect to hear infectious, Flirtatious and irresistible tunes that will make you stomp your feet and move your hips in a way you never thought yourself capable of!
