Floridita Madrid
Originally founded in Havana in the early 20th century, El Floridita was a place where history was made. Today it is Cuba's most famous and internationally renowned cocktail bar.
History
Under the supervision of the legendary bartender Constante Ribalaigua, El Floridita became renowned in the early 1900's as Havana's 'cathedral of cocktails'. It was at El Floridita that Constante, inspired by his fascinating guests, created cocktails to suit their moods. His encounter with the charismatic Ernest Hemingway brought to the creation of the very first Daiquiri… Today's El Floridita is the world's 'Cradle of the Daiquiri'.
The Cocktails
Floridita Madrid offers the city broadest and most exciting cocktail selection based on the original Floridita in Havana and the award winning selection in Floridita London.
Headed by Bar Manager Diego González García, Floridita Madrid and with inspiration from the best mixoligists in the world the Floridtia Cocktail list is the one to try. A mentioned should be made to two of Diego´s own creations, the “Cucumber Daiquiri” and the “Los 7 del Club Havana” which had an immense acceptance from our regular guests.
